We collect personal information about you in a number of different ways:

Personal Information From Users Of Our Services.  When you use our Services, we collect personal information that you provide to us, which may include the following categories of personal information depending on how you use our Services and communicate with us:

  • General identifiers, such as your full name, age, zip code, telephone number, email address, and from Teachers, job title and organizational affiliation.
  • Online identifiers, such as your username and passwords for any of our Sites, or information we automatically collect through cookies and similar technologies used on our websites.  This may include your computer or mobile device’s operating system type and version number, manufacturer and model, browser type, screen resolution, internet protocol (IP) address, unique identifier, the website you visited before browsing to our Site, and general location information such as city, state or geographic area.
  • Commercial information, such as the billing details we use to bill you for our Services, your billing and payment history, and any records of personal property that we collect in connection with providing our Services to you.  We also collect information about your preferences regarding marketing communications.
  • Professional or employment-related information that we collect from Teachers in connection with providing our Services to you, such as your job title, employer information and work history.

We also track your activity history with Coral Academy.
  • Other information you provide to us.

Audio and Visual Recording.  We may record classes that Learners take from us via both audio and/or visual means.  If Teachers and Learners activate their microphones and/or cameras during such classes, we may record both audio and visual images of the Teacher and/or the Learner, as well as persons in view of their camera and their background surroundings.  We may share these recordings with other Learners who were unable to attend the live versions of these classes or would like to review the class again. We may also share these recordings with the Teacher for improvement and feedback purposes.

Verifying Age of Learners.  We may use personal information we collect in order to verify the ages of Learners on the Services.  This may include requiring the Learner to turn on their camera at the start of each class to confirm that they are under 18 years of age.  If we suspect that a Learner is over 18 or misrepresenting their identity, we may request proof of age or identity, like a video clip, birth certificate, passport, or driver’s license, to ensure the safety of other Learners. This documentation may include sensitive data, such as the full date of birth, place of birth, and government ID numbers.  We only keep the necessary information, like the date of birth.
