At Coral Academy, we strive to create a reliable, and hassle-free learning experience for both teachers and learners.
To keep things running smoothly, we’ve outlined a few simple guidelines for teachers on learner verification, cancellations, and class management—all designed to support you!
Ensuring a safe and trustworthy learning environment is a top priority at Coral Academy. Before You Start Your Class
● Verify the names of learners from the enrollment list while admitting them into the class one by one. Use the Waiting Room Feature to double-check names before letting the learners in.
● Verify each learner by asking them to switch on their camera for a few seconds to confirm their identity. Even if you know learners from previous sessions, camera verification is required at the start of every session!
● Make sure their full face is visible. If necessary, ask learners to adjust their cameras or lighting for better framing.
● After this initial verification, learners may choose to switch off their cameras. ● If multiple students join from the same device, kindly report this to us so we can take any necessary action & track attendance properly.
Here’s what to do:
● If a learner who is not a child is identified during the video check-in, remove them from the class immediately.
● If the learner does not turn on their camera after being asked, inform them of the Learner Verification Policy and move them to the waiting room. Do not permit them to remain in the classroom while resolving the issue
● In such cases, immediately notify us via email by providing the session details, and the learner's name.
● After any removal action, contact the learner's parents to explain the verification policy. If needed, parents may request to transfer their learners to another
session to make up for the missed session. To initiate this process, parents must email our support team at support@coralacademy.com and we will take care of the process thereafter!
We deeply appreciate the dedication of our teachers in creating a safe and enriching learning experience for all learners. For any other questions or concerns regarding this process, teachers can email us at teachers@coralacademy.com. We are here to help and will handle any further concerns or disputes.
We understand that sometimes, schedules can change. So our cancellation policy is designed to support teachers and provide them with the flexibility they need!
Kindly go through our Class Cancellation & Rescheduling policy for more details!
Additional Guidelines:
● We recommend joining 5-10 minutes early to set up and ensure a smooth start to your session.
● A quick audio/video check before the session is recommended to prevent last-minute issues.
● We kindly request you keep a personal record of student attendance for all your classes. This will help you cross-check and flag any discrepancies related to payments efficiently.
● In case of compliance issues, please report them to us immediately. This allows us to take swift action.
