Teacher Referral Policy

Our “Teacher Referral Program” is designed to reward our current teachers for helping us grow our community of passionate educators.

If you know someone who would be a great fit, kindly share this link with the teacher and ask them to add your unique referral code when filling out the application.

How It Works:

  1. Refer a teacher using your unique referral code
  2. If they pass initial screening, we will schedule an introductory call with them
  3. They have the call with us (you get $40)
  4. If the call goes well, we will schedule a trial class with that teacher
  5. Additional $60 will be paid once the teacher completes their first class with her

By referring teachers to Coral Academy, you can earn up to $100. Please find the breakdown of the referral reward below:

  • The referred teacher must fill out this Google form

    We will carefully review their profile and invite them for an introductory call to get to know them better!
  • If the teacher is shortlisted for the introductory call, you will receive $40.
  • Post the call, if the teacher seems like a great fit for our platform, we'll invite them to teach a trial session with us. They would be compensated for their time spent on the session.
  • You will receive an additional amount of $60 once the teacher completes their first class with us. Following the trial classes, the teacher may be onboarded to our platform.

Payment Details

  • Mode of Payment: Cash, paid via Stripe
  • Payment Timeline:
    • You will receive your referral reward within 15 days of the referred teacher joining our platform.
    • If a referral does not proceed after the call, you’ll be notified via email and your referral reward of $40 will be processed within 15 days of the call.
  • You'll be notified via email when your referral payment is processed.


Please Note:

  • To qualify as a referrer, you must be an approved teacher on our platform.
  • The person you refer must be a new teacher on our platform.
  • You cannot refer yourself.
  • The referred teacher must enter your “Unique Referral Code”  in the application form. 
  • Your unique referral code is your full name written in all capital letters without spaces.

For example, if your name is John Doe, your referral code would be JOHNDOE

Requirements to become a Teacher

Coral Academy doesn’t require formal teaching credentials. However, anyone you refer must meet certain requirements to become a teacher on our platform.

  • Must be a full-time resident of the US.
  • Must verify their identity and pass a criminal background check during onboarding.
  • Must ensure that classes are secular and objective.
  • Must have good command of spoken and written English
